Third Year Reading

 

Each child reads at their own level and has an individual or small group reading lesson every single day.

 

 

Typically, the most fluent readers are in chapter books such as The Magic Tree House Series, while the middle readers are reading such books as Little Bear and Frog and Toad, and those who are still mastering phonics are in the finishing stages of Primary Phonics. Comprehension is addressed through a variety of activities as well.
