Speech Presentation Class

 

Through an introduction to American history and government, the children are presented with historical figures, the challenges of their times and their attempts to persuade and call to action their countrymen through their impassioned speeches. The children are then given assignments to write their own short speeches and to present them to the group. The art of effective presentation is explored by the group.
