Odyssey Of The Mind

 

This program was created by Dr. Samuel Micklus at Rowan University to encourage his students to take risks while problem solving and has since been adapted to children at all grade levels.

 

 

The children work in small groups as they bounce ideas off each other while working on unique problems provided by a teacher/facilitator. A recent activity involved taking a diverse group of pastas and marshmallows and using them in teams to construct bridges.
