Journal Writing and Illustration

 

This is, hands down, the favorite activity of our third year students. Given the choice, they will choose journal writing over all other activities. And they are amazing! The children think of what they want to write, and execute the task using their phonetic skills to come up with almost perfect spelling.

 

 

Each entry is completely unique. Here is where we see the synchronization of all the language skills that have been taught to the children. And here is where we see the expression of their joy in that knowledge.
